Africa Advancement Award program was managed through a call for nominations and that followed a two-step assessment process:

All nominations received will be reviewed by an independent award screening committee to ensure they meet eligibility criteria.

The screening committee will assess the public nominations based on established assessment criteria and develop a list of nominations for assessment by the award advisory committee.

The Advisory Committee will evaluate the nominations provided by the award committee and recommend the award winners to the Governing board for final approval.
