The purpose of Africa Advancement Awards is to promote and encourage innovation, scale up private sector participation in enhancing the economies of Africa as well as promote best practices in service delivery in both private and public sectors respectively.

The Awards recognize successful and effective service delivery initiatives in Africa that have been achieved through the application of innovative approaches, methodologies and tools.

The Awards program provides opportunities for information sharing, networking, partnerships and the possible replication of successful innovations and initiatives in other part of the African continent.

The Awards program is designed specifically to contribute towards the “growth of African economies” with capable and innovative private institutions being the driving force with support from government at all levels.
