In 2020, during the peak of the Covid 19 pandemic the Africa Advancement Forum’s management board, its Faculty of Mentors, and with extensive consultation from the advisory board chair and her distinguished members together considered the impact of the coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic during an online meeting and subsequently embarked on immediate food and medical supplies intervention for families and first responders within the African communities, UK and United States of America. following the said meeting we were compelled by the prevailing circumstance to inform the general public that the 2020 Africa Advancement Forum Global Summit be postponed to 2021 in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
This was done in line with the recommendations from our public health think-tank and the World Health Organisation.
African Advancement Forum focused all its effort in supporting NGO’s, families and agencies of governments across the continent of Africa in the fight to overcome the current pandemic. We encouraged everyone to please keep safe by observing all COVID 19 protocol at home and at work obeying respective government directives, and maintain good personal hygiene.
